The combination steel is folded 10-12 times and then tempered to produce a sturdy blade as well as the natural gunome and notare hamon produced by the traditional Nihonto forging method is further accentuated by the shitaji and shiage process to obtain a clear and distinct hamon. The E-mudo Nami Wakizashi is extraordinarily well balanced with additional strength for cutting practice.
