The E-mudo Musashi O-Katana features a medium quality polish of 1095 blade forged in Japanese Nihonto tradition. The high carbon steel is folded eight to twelve times during this process and as a result, the blade has a clear sheen, and a prominent suguha hamon is mastered. The blade itself may or may not have bo-hi, or the sword groove, depending on the desired design.
The Musashi O-Katana is similar to the Musashi Katana, but has a longer blade at 31.7 in. The E-mudo Musashi O-Katana tsuka is adorned with ray skin cover which is then wrapped with tightly-woven silk tsuka-ito, and a tsuba style inspired by that of legendary samurai Miyamoto Musashi.
