The E-mudo Musashi Maru Katana, also called Kogarasu Maru, is one of the most unique lines of Japanese swords available. In design, the Musashi Maru Katana is forged with 1095 high carbon steel, similar to the E-mudo Musashi Katana but having slightly shorter blade and tsuka. The Musashi Maru Katana, however, is forged as double edged sword with Kissaki Moro ha Zukuri design. One side of the blade features a normal tachi fashion edge, but unlike a normal tachi, the edge continues from the tip of the blade on to the back side up to the mid-point of the blade. The medium quality polish finish of the blade exhibits beautiful hamon and fantastic hada. The tsuka of Musashi Maru Katana features skillfully crafted koshirae with ray skin wrapped with tightly-woven silk and comes with a tsuba inspired by that of Miyomoto Musashi.
